HW: Have a safe weekend.
First, Alora read her blog. Once she was done, Ms.Nakada corrected it and Alora chose me. Ms Nakada told us to take out our "Taking a Stand" notes and told us to write about our personal experience with standing up in certain situations. Then, Ms.Nakada told us to move to our literature circles. We read for about 25 minutes and then Ms.Nakada told us to pack up. Finally, we went home.

First, Izzy read his blog and picked me. After that, Ms.Nakada began to talk about the notes we took yesterday, called "Taking a Stand." Some students in the class began to share some of the quotes they found. Then, we moved tables and got into our literature circles. After that, we moved the tables back, packed up, put chairs up, and went home.

At the beginning of class, some other students and I greeted Ms. Nakada. Once the class was settled in, we read Breyden's third blog. Then, the class and I did an activity Ms. Nakada made for our literature circle. The activity had us discuss quotes from the books the class was reading. Then, we had a short discussion of the stock market. For 20 mins., we got into our literature circles. Once we were done with our literature circles, we packed up and went home. First, we came in and took a seat. We also wrote down the agenda. After, Angel read his blog and we corrected it. He picked me to do today's blog, so I moved all my stuff. We did reading circles and moved all the tables in under 20 seconds. They talked about All American Boys and then I got called to the office. Then, we left home.

First, we corrected Rosemary's third blog. Then, she choose Derrick to do the next blog but he said, "I already did my third blog." After that, she choose me to do it, I didn't mind doing it today for some reason. Next, Ms. Nakada told us to go on the iPads to do a Star Test to see how we improved in our reading skills. Then, Ms. Nakada went around the room looking at everyone's reading journal to see their reading of the week so far. Lastly, we packed up our stuff from Literature Circles and went home.

When class first started, we wrote down the agenda and homework. After that, we listened to "The Summer Day" by Mary Oliver. Then, we did our quote, question, and song. "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" Mary Older. The question was what 2020 news are you anxious/excited about? We then had an open class discussion about World War Three. Lastly, we talked about what are song of the week which is: "What's Goin' On" by Marvin Gaye. Then, we packed up to go home. ONLY 20 more weeks !!!!!!!!
