While students worked on their quizzes, I graded binder reminders and then passed them back at the end of the period. Everyone worked so diligently on the quiz, and hopefully everyone did great!

At the beginning of class, Ms. Nakada checked if Angel wrote his blog correctly. Then, the class wrote and discussed the Quote of the week. Ms. Nakada discussed what socialization is. Ms. Nakada talked about how bell hooks doesn't capitalize her name which represents dominance. We discussed the dominant genders, races etc... to understand what bell hooks' message is, and we understood more when we figured out bell hooks is an African American lady which is a non dominant race/gender. The class and I figured the definition of undermine and had a discussion about it. We understood that to be an equal country, we have to question the inequality around us which basically means we have to stand up to others.

The question was: What do you think about school?

We didn't get to the song and Ms. Nakada dismissed us.
